Videolicious is a great site and App for making video creation easy. Mrs. Walker and her students had great fun using Videolicious as a tool for conducting interviews. Students played the role of a Lampasas Dispatch Record reporter, and interviewed each other about their 7th grade experiences.
"We had been studying various media with an emphasis on newspapers and news writing. Julie talked about the changes facing print media and emphasized that reporters will still be needed in the digital age. In this assignment the students had the opportunity to be a reporter and interview one another for a brief video. They had not had an opportunity before the class to work on the assignment and had to come up with questions to ask as well as take photos and record the responses. It was not for a grade. Julie and I walked around and viewed the results. The students really enjoyed the assignment."
